Online Reputation Management  (ORM)

Online Reputation Management is the process of managing a brand through the use of the internet this could also include an individual as well.



In Class exercise

The independant hotel that i will be working on is The" Hotel du petit Moulin, Paris".
The property Management system that i will be using is Vendsta.

This has a sales and marketing platform that allows for the hotel to market the property towards anyone online.

The two other property management systems that i will be working on is
Revinate and Olery


Revinate
The service that are provided by Revinate is a Property Management system that helps hotel increase their profits. Moreover, they end up helping the improvement of technology to improve guest experience. The system is interactive and so the hotel is able to learn more about the customer so that they will be able to improve the level of service. They have over 30,000 systems that are running in different hotels.

Olery;
 The difference between Olery and Revinate is that with Olery one is able to keep track of the clients as they are social online. This means that when a key word of the hotel pops up in google or  the hotel is mentioned the hotel is able to pick that up quickly. With the use of the Olery the company is able to keep an eye on the competition as they are able to attract clients when hotel ratings start to drop. Moreover, then needed reports that are needed for the hotel to know it's position will be of use and also provide the needed insight.

What type of data is available to the hotel

With Revinate the system allows for the hotel to interact with the clients. As compared to Olery with provided data reports.


Type of measurement rating
Unfortuantyly au dictionnaire this was not found and the internet was not able to provide ratings.




Hotel engagement
The hotel engages with the guest with Olery by keeping track and also interacting with clients online. As for Revinate the guest expierence is what is improved and so the client will end feeling that the level of service has improved over the time. This will be felt when they end up returning back to the hotel the next time.

Support

The type of support that i given by the different types of Property Management Systems include support centers like for Revinate. Unforuntately for Olery they do not seem to provide a support center nor a fixed price.

The one that i will end up picking   is Orley as i think it allows for the hotel to get the needed information that they need to talk to the customer by improving the hotels service. This not only improve the level of service that is provide by the hotel but also reduce the future problems that coudl arise i the near future. In addition, it also means that the hotel is able to track the level of likeability form their guests. Thus, customer satisfaction is enjoyed by the hotel. Moreover, as for the staff they are able to change the way that they handle clients from management talking to them and explaining to thme the importance of their positions. Thus, increasing less compalaints from clients and also Marketing is provided to target the right client.
